A collection of sites that I recommend.
Written by John Gruber this is the best known Apple focused blog. Here you won't find breaking news. Instead you'll find thoughful and well written analysis on everything Apple related. Pioneer of the link post, Gruber often publishes excerpts from articles on other sites with his brief (sometimes not so brief) comment on the matter.
The most comprehensive analysis and reviews on everything related to digital photography. When I need an opinion on a camera or lens this is my reference. The side-by-side comparison is an invaluable resource.
If you like watches you already know Hodinkee. Founded in 2012 by Ben Clymer, this is one of the most popular online magazines about watches. Featuring daily articles about the watch industry and great video content, Hodinkee also produces the Hodinkee Radio podcast and hosts The Grey Nato podcast. I recommend listening to Episode nº 1 of Hodinkee Radio, on which Ben Clymer explains how Hodinkee was born.
Ming Thein is a Malaysyan photographer specialized in corporate and product photography. His passion for watches led him to found his own watch brand, Horologer Ming. Besides the incredible photos you can see on his blog, you can also find in-depth articles about photo techniques.
Paul Stamatiou is a designer at Twitter. Although his site is rarely updated, every time he publishes an article you can expect a long and thorough text, accompanied by excellent photos. The photos section on the website, where Paul documents his travels, is amazing and I can only imagine the work involved in creating those photosets.
